8 week Domestic Abuse Programmes

Our domestic abuse programmes run over an 8 week period on a 1:1 basis with a trained Domestic Abuse Practitioner. We provide a safe, nurturing space for individuals that are affected by abuse. Our programme consists of 8 sessions including education on domestic abuse, understanding the cycle of abuse, legal rights for victims of domestic abuse as well as sessions focused on wellness, healing, self empowerment and recovery through talking, therapeutic activities and exercises and much more.

Peer Group and Mentoring

Reducing isolation is crucial for individuals living with domestic abuse. We facilitate regular peer group sessions, workshops, self defence sessions, therapeutic art activities and resilience and empowerment training sessions. These sessions provide individuals with a safe space where they come together in a safe space to share their experiences, build new friendships, foster a sense of purpose, develop new skills and build lasting community connections.

Support for Families Programme

Healthy Relationships for Teens Programme

We offer programmes for children that are living in families that are living with domestic abuse. These sessions are tailored to the needs of family and the issues they are facing and aim to help them to heal and rebuild their lives free from abuse.

We provide therapeutic family sessions helping children process their experiences and develop healthy coping stretegies. Our sessions promote emotional healing by providing a safe space for families process traumas, leading to improved mental health and wellbeing for both children and their parents and strengthening families.

By addressing the issues of domestic abuse with children alongside their parent or care giver, our programmes are designed to help reduce future generations from perpetuating or experiencing domestic abuse.

We also offer educational group sessions with children and workshops in schools, providing education around various topics including breaking the cycle of abuse, consent, healthy relationships and staying safe online.
