At S:Soul CIC, we believe in the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of safety, healing and empowerment. Our mission is to support individuals affected by domestic abuse by creating safe, nurturing spaces where they can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

We are committed to a holistic approach that combines therapeutic methods, wellness practices and practical support. This includes providing access to essential resources, and tailored support plans to empower survivors on their journey to independence. By addressing immediate needs and long term goals we will be able to ensure that we provide a comprehensive pathway to healing and stability for victims and their children.

Our daily practices are tailored to support individuals at every stage of their journey, from confidential 1:1 sessions and peer support groups to skill building workshops, and wellness programmes. Every aspect of our service is rooted in compassion, inclusivity and respect.

We work in close collaboration with local community organisations to provide a seamless support network, helping individuals that are experiencing domestic abuse to navigate their path forward with confidence and care.

We have a dedicated Diversity Domestic Abuse Practitioner who focuses on empowerment and wellness for service users from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including Black, Asian, and other marginalized communities. As well as this we will also be providing educational work with families with the aim of reducing adverse childhood experiences in children and likelihood of them entering abusive relationships later on in life. We will be extending this work to within the community by offering programmes in local schools and youth organisations.

Our aim in the future is also to provide 1:1 and group sessions working with perpetrators of domestic abuse, therefore tackling the issue at the root cause.
